By the way, I wrote the Web preview for Episode 15 myself this time, and when I thought, "I'll just have Otto do the tsukkomi...," it was done in five minutes. Otto is convenient, Rem is capable, and Subaru getting this treatment is only natural.
Episode 15 is about to start, and it packs quite a punch, so please don't take your eyes off it for even a second.
So then, whether you're Queen Brane in the royal suite or all of you up on the roof, please have a thick handkerchief ready.
Episode 15 begins!
Inside the hut was...
Opening segment over! And where Subaru goes in search of survivors is...
A Part starts!!!
Big Sister
The anime staff are using a prop I forgot about extremely well.
The loop begins. Mister Save Point.
If even for a moment I managed to make you misunderstand where he'd returned to, I'd be satisfied.
Mass slaughter, children, Rem, Ram, probably Emilia too. At this point, my heart has finally been shattered to pieces.
A rare moment of Crusch-sama's curiosity.
I'd like the Subaru from about two episodes ago to hear what Rem is saying right now.
"A lap pillow, huh." "A lap pillow indeed."
The ground dragon's snorting is actually the voice actor's performance. During dubbing, I was amazed and thought, where do you even study something like a giant lizard's snort...!?
Please keep your eyes on Rem-san's movements from here on.
A lower-ranking Witch Cult combatant. And then he appears.
A Part over!
In B Part, "Sloth" moves a really incredible amount, so... well, I want you to enjoy that.
B Part start!!
The emotional whiplash.
The hero appears when the heroine is in danger! (Second time)
Sorry.
You are Slothful, aren't you.
She froze the blood that spilled onto the shackles and shattered them. Rem's love.
It's sad seeing Ram's body all cleaned up.
Too late to save the village, twice now.
Ram fought desperately to protect the hut. Last time it was Rem who did it; this time big sister is doing it.
We're going into the special ending!
The loop, once again.
Natsuki Subaru, awakened to a murderous urge: "PetelgeusePetelgeusePetelgeusePetelgeusePetelgeusePetelgeusePetelgeuse...!"
Episode 15 over! Thank you very much!
Closing Petelgeuse.
By the way, this episode's storyboard was done by the person who vividly depicted Rem's battle with the mabeasts in Episode 10, and I'd really like to know what everyone thought about making someone like that animate a Petelgeuse who doesn't even fight this much.
https://t.co/1wgK8OPHcD Uh, with Episode 15 ending, the key visual on the official Re:Zero anime site was also changed to the second cour version. Please take a look. This is the same anime as the first cour, right?
I think a worn-out heart can be healed with The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. It's seriously hilarious, even among Jump comedy series!
This week's script was also by Eiji Umehara-san, following last week. Petelgeuse's first appearance, the second cour's opening episode, there must have been all kinds of pressure on him, but as you can see, the result speaks for itself. He really was a perfect fit. Thank you.
Well then, thank you for Re:Zero anime Episode 15! The developments continue to pack quite a punch, but I hope you'll keep supporting us! The Witch Cult Sin Archbishop of "Sloth" has finally appeared, and he's the enemy this time. For the record, he's the most decent one among the Sin Archbishops.
