Picking up from where last episode's battle left off, right as Beatrice cuts into the fight with Lye of "Gluttony"! Can the Beatrice & Otto duo stand against "Gluttony"!?
The Result of the Battle for Priestella

The phrasing "out of stock everywhere in the world" sounds ordinary at first glance, but don't you think it carries a trace of Subaru's influence?
As I think you could tell from the end of the previous episode, the Authority of "Gluttony" can make the target's "memories" its own. Those include techniques, experience, and at the same time emotions and feelings as well. The reason Lye can say all that is because he has free access to Rem's "memories," including the ones that know Beatrice.
I see, so today the OP is... thank you, OP.
Gaston, hang in there! You've got a daughter! Fight your way back for the beloved daughter you have with that widow you got close to while staying with the Felt camp!
One after another, members of the "White Dragon's Scale" fall, and Otto's decision in response could even be called heartless. Even so, in this situation it's the optimal answer. Otto is the kind of man who can find the optimal answer in any situation. For better or worse.
The five magic stones Beako is using were originally prepared by Kiritaka's Muse Company, the very thing that prompted the Emilia camp to come to Priestella in the first place. Using them, Beatrice, who had been exhausting her mana, woke up, making her intervention in this battle possible.
Lye Batenkaitos's ability to devour an opponent's "name" and "memories" has the potential to be an instant-kill attack as long as he knows the target's name when he touches them, but it also carries risks like this. Even so, in the world of Re:Zero, where introducing yourself is customary, it's a completely busted ability.
As for this trump card, "Meteora," it's a "star staff," and the "Witch" who made it apparently thought, "I made this pretty nicely. I even added restrictions that make it unsuitable for children to use, so maybe everyone will praise me for this?" Of course, nobody praised her.
Otto getting his leg gouged is painful to watch. Even so, the fact that Otto can still open his mouth and speak means his resolve has gone way beyond the extreme.
"Gluttony," who should have been taken down, turns into a huge onee character! What is the truth behind this phenomenon...!?
The name "Louis" had been popping up here and there during the fight with "Gluttony," but now the main body has finally appeared. Louis Arneb. Along with Batenkaitos and Alphard, if you're interested, look them up!
Big brother = Lye Batenkaitos. Elder brother = Roy Alphard. These kids each have very definite opinions about how a meal should be surrounded.
Once their names Dynas and Gaston were brought up, it was basically the same as being told their "names" could be eaten at any time. Otto is out of commission, and Felt made the right call by leaving the judgment of the battle situation to Beatrice. I think this really shows the strength of Felt's decisiveness.
Felt said, "I can't be happy about it," and given how the battle against "Gluttony" was going, you can't blame her. Even so, now that all resistance against the Sin Archbishops who came flooding in has ended, all that's left is to learn what kind of conclusion awaited them.
Subaru's happy-looking face was in the advance cut too, but it's heartwarming when you realize it was a scene of him rejoicing at his reunion with Beatrice. It was a shame that Season 3 had quite a few gaps between them, but the author also writes Subaru and Beatrice's closeness with a smile. It's good, right!
Garfiel in bed. After finishing his fierce battle with Kurgan, he's in such terrible shape that even the "Divine Protection of Earth Spirits" can't keep up with healing him. And then Mimi makes her return! Thank goodness she's safe, really.
The reason Mimi had collapsed was Theresia's attack through the "Divine Protection of the Reaper." With Theresia, its bearer, now gone, Mimi's injuries can finally be treated properly. One way or another, I think this is where Ferris steps in.
Ferris suffered over not being able to treat Crusch, but when it comes to contribution toward saving lives in the city, including Mimi now that the Divine Protection's effect is gone, I think Ferris wins by a mile. In terms of direct contribution, he saved more people than even Subaru or Reinhard. That's the level of his healing magic.
After the battle with Priscilla, the defeated Sirius was captured and taken prisoner. Capella and Louis (Lye) escaped, and Regulus died. The various Sin Archbishops ended up with mixed fates, but what happens from here?
Sirius pointed to the Witch Factor of "Sloth" inside Subaru, and sensed the lingering remnants of Petelgeuse there. Whether that's good or bad is something we'll learn in detail eventually.
Sirius was defeated by Liliana's song, but by using that defeat as fuel, Sirius came to learn how wonderful "song" is. How that lesson will matter going forward... that's another story. But please learn a little more about pitch too!
Sirius is genuinely sympathetic toward Subaru, so I don't think her advice carries any strange hidden meaning. That said, there still probably isn't anything you should blindly accept from a Sin Archbishop.
Emilia can properly say thank you! Good job!
As for what happened behind Beatrice's revival, it was Al who brought Kiritaka's magic crystal to Beatrice. The fact that it would work, and that he had secured the magic crystal the Muse Company had been storing in the first place. Al's behind-the-scenes maneuvers stood out a lot in Season 3, but what was his true intent... huh, is that for the main story?
Everyone is divided over what to do with the captured "Wrath," Sirius, but if they can get information out of a Sin Archbishop, they can't afford to throw away the chance to learn about the damage done by "Lust" and "Gluttony." Of course, no matter how you handle her, she's a bomb, so it was only natural for Reinhard to step forward. There's no one else you can entrust it to.
Ferris's healing magic is among the very best in the Re:Zero world, to the point that while it's a different system, it can even rival Minerva, the "Witch of Wrath," but the mutations inflicted by Capella are not something that can be healed under the concept of healing magic. Unlike wounds or illness, the power to turn someone into a different living creature falls outside the scope of recovery magic.
After finishing her battle with Sirius, Priscilla leaves her hair as it is, now that her hair ornament is gone. The broken ornament was one of her favorites, and there are also various constraints that make it difficult for her to tie up her hair with something else. That point isn't unrelated to the "something" that transferred the damage to her necklace and such.
What a beautiful song...
For the first time in a while, Emilia is back in her normal outfit instead of the bridal dress! The bridal dress is cute too, but this is nice as well!
In the background of the song, we see scenes of all kinds of people in Priestella, but the ones I especially want you to pay attention to are Lyra and the children, and Heinkel, I think. Especially with Lyra, the children make it back safely, but someone is missing...-
Russbel and Tina went through a terrible ordeal, but seeing the two of them running around so lively is proof that things were resolved in a way that let them stay well. Just like Emilia said, it's proof they did their best.
Even after losing an arm in the battle against Roy Alphard, the strength of heart that lets Ricardo still carry himself like that is something many people will admire. From the author's point of view, Ricardo is one of the biggest-hearted people in the Re:Zero world.
Julius wasn't there for everyone's discussion. Then Emilia sees that Julius and responds with a somewhat distant attitude. And then the words are spoken... Re:Zero anime Season 3 is over!!
Once again, thank you for Re:Zero anime Season 3! Without question, it was the best anime, blessed far beyond what the original author could have hoped for! Thank you all for sticking with it through 16 episodes... or rather, 66 episodes! Please keep supporting Re:Zero going forward too!!
