O-Opening! An opening with no cold open! Huh!? No cold open? I don't remember that! I don't remember that ever happening! That's how shocking this no-cold-open opening is!

Now that Season 3 of the anime has come this far, you can finally pick up on most of the information scattered through the opening! So that was what that meant! So this part was that! That's one of the best parts of enjoying the opening! So make sure you watch it! And listen to it!
As the battles are decided one after another, the remaining battlefields are only getting fiercer. What's left are "Gluttony" and "Lust"; with Sin Archbishops still standing, we can't let our guard down.
In the story, the main victims are Rem and Crusch-san, but the scale of the damage caused by "Gluttony" is hard to grasp, so it may look easier to deal with compared to the other Sin Archbishops. Once you know the details, though, this Authority is plenty horrifying too.
The two "Gluttonies" in two different places are Lye Batenkaitos and Roy Alphard. Both are played by Kengo Kawanishi-san, but he really does distinguish them properly, and it's impressive. Is Roy a little sweeter? Is Lye a little more obnoxious? What do you all think?
Julius and Ricardo are both the type who excel at coordinating with allies, so when they pair up, their teamwork-based tactics become extremely strong. But Roy brushes that aside with ease, which shows just how exceptional his technique is. He's at genuine master level in that field.
Ricardo's roar wave is basically a solo version of the thing Mimi and her siblings do together. It's about the same power, so the fact that Ricardo can do it alone is impressive, but unlike Mimi and the others, if he uses it repeatedly it puts a real strain on his throat.
That exchange over young Julius and ○○a's ringa: with "Gluttony" telling that story, and Julius hearing it without knowing the story being told, which of the two passing each other by is in the right?
Just as he roars, "I don't understand a single thing!", Julius has absolutely no recollection of anything Roy is talking about, but he can still sense the unnaturalness of it itself, and that's what leads into his outburst.
The scene shifts to Al and Capella clashing underground. Since then, Al should have dealt Capella fatal wounds over and over again, but as you can tell from the amount of blood flying everywhere, it's obvious how much damage Capella actually took.
But no matter what he does, she just thinks it's all for his own sake, so this girl is basically invincible.
Bringing down the underground beneath the city hall as collateral damage was probably something he wanted to avoid if possible, considering the rebuilding effort, but it couldn't be helped. It's probably Al's highest-power attack under the current circumstances.
Al jumped into the waterway himself and escaped the collapse, but when he tried to drain the water out of his helmet, he noticed someone approaching and stopped. Does he really hate showing people his face that much?
Cat-eared big-brother guy.
What an intentionally unpleasant revival! By the way, the rats were originally planned as sound effects, but Aoi Yuki-san eagerly asked, "Can I do them...?" So we let her, and unexpectedly she turned out to be really good at rats, so it stayed in! Go listen again later! (lol)
But Capella really does look good the whole time...
The demi-beasts are basically left to run wild on autopilot, but since Capella made them, she can control them. Normally, I assume she'd ordered them to "go wreak havoc however you like."
But Ferris also really does look good the whole time...
For Ferris, a healing magic user renowned enough to be called "Blue," demi-beasts are unbearable to look at because they are a desecration of life, and they're something he wants to properly lay to rest. When Reinhard appears and Ferris says, "Please let them die properly," that's Ferris's true feeling. Reinhard finished the previous battle and came straight here.
Gaston helped with his powers of observation, but Otto is impressive for reaching a certain conclusion by connecting it to all the unease up to this point. All his stats are high, except he has no luck.
Roy's personality shift when using swordsmanship, martial arts, and magic was great too, but Lye's personality shift here when he talks to Dynas is incredibly compelling as well. This is the kind of appeal you can only truly savor in anime...!
Also, if you listen closely to what Lye just said to Dynas, an interesting name came up.
Otto is impressive for figuring out the effect of Lye's Authority, and even the conditions behind it. All his stats are high, except he has no luck. Also, he leaves only a weak impression on important people.
Subaru is that type too, but Otto also tends to pick up information from the people he's talking to as the moment calls for it, so against talkative Sin Archbishops it's almost like having an advantageous passive skill.
By the way, the reason Regulus-san has such a hard time actually killing people is because he's messing around, but Capella's goal isn't to kill, and Lye and Roy aren't after their opponents' lives either, so the reason nobody dies before the conditions are met is because that's the premise they're operating under.
Kyaa!! So cool and cute!!!
If you close your eyes and listen carefully, doesn't it almost feel like a certain person from those memories starts to come into view... or is that just my imagination?
Right before the final episode, we got a new subtitle-card effect. With those two standing there in resolve, the story heads into next week's final episode! What will happen to Priestella!? Stay tuned for next time!
