Well, as everyone could hear, hearing who voiced Liliana's mama was definitely a surprise...
N-no way, Guiltirau-san! You weren't supposed to have any role in season 3! Even if it's just your name... you're even here too!
The "Sword Saint Reid" Liliana mentioned is the first Sword Saint of House Astrea, a hero who left behind outrageous legends all over the place. He has so many flamboyant exploits that boys absolutely love him. Garfiel and Julius are both huge fans.
Liliana heading out on her own and becoming independent on this momentum alone is just too rock 'n' roll...!
At the end of the last episode, Priscilla was hit hard after falling for Sirius's incomprehensible provocation, but despite taking what was quite a lethal blow, her beauty remains completely unmarred!
Sirius compared "The Iris and the King of Thorns" to an arrogant story, but how someone interprets the outcome of that tale really depends on the person.
It worked once, and then she gave it a little tap with a kiss, though!
Priscilla is now increasingly known as the "Sun Princess," but originally she was called the "Bloody Bride" because too many of her husbands kept dying. With that many deaths in a row it sounds suspicious, but Priscilla didn't personally kill them or anything. They either truly met their fated end or mostly self-destructed.
As the "pioneer of fire." Priscilla occasionally throws out modern expressions, but she got all of them from Al. Priscilla likes new and unusual things, so compared to Emilia, who mostly lets Subaru's words go in one ear and out the other, she uses modern language much more proactively.
By the way, the ones seriously trying to learn Subaru's modern expressions are Beatrice and Garfiel. Beatrice wants to understand what Subaru is saying, and Garfiel does it because it's cool. Meanwhile, Otto can kind of tell what he's saying thanks to the Divine Protection of Soul Language, and he's exasperated by it.
The white flames Priscilla creates only burn what she wants them to burn, but they're still properly hot, so Liliana is showing some serious grit by standing on top of that tower.
Liliana left home and became independent, and now she's called the "Songstress," but of course things couldn't have been smooth sailing from the start. The reason her journey was so wild was because the heroes in the stories she sings have wild journeys too, and she wished to be like them.
Liliana's parents pass by carrying a baby, but as for whether they desperately searched for their only daughter after she ran off... they probably didn't search that much. It's not that they lacked love, it's just a family that believes once you've chosen your path, you're a full-fledged adult. If she'd said she was quitting as a minstrel to become a baker, they'd have accepted that too. Same goes for the King of Minstrels.
Given the flow here, "A Sky That Overtakes the Dawn" is probably Liliana's original song. It's a song about the feelings that sprouted within Liliana in the sunlight on the day she learned how vast and open-hearted the world is.
Though, well, the same mind also came up with things like "Madly, madly into you" and "rough waves, high waves, the waves of society".
Kiritaka... did you die...?
On top of the collapsing tower, Liliana keeps singing anyway. Sirius failed to stop Liliana's song, and Priscilla's sword reaches her straight on. Since the Authority of "Wrath" is currently undone, this is the moment to cut Sirius down.
The details of Priscilla's ability, which let her accessories take damage in her place, will be explained another time, but the result is that she lost her hair ornament and remained unharmed. As you can tell, in simple combat ability, Priscilla is the strongest of the royal selection candidates. As expected of the princess!
So you were alive, Kiritaka! Seriously, in the anime you're way too much of a good man!
Priscilla praised Liliana's way of being by saying, "Your resolve is worthy," but earning that kind of evaluation from her is extremely difficult. She hardly ever says it in the story, so it's proof of just how much Priscilla liked Liliana's convictions.
The C-part, continuing from last time... the C-part!? Wait, what!? A and B are already over!? Is episode 61 down to just the C-part left!?
At the end of the last episode, from what Emilia said, Subaru discerned both the common trait shared by the Sin Archbishops and the true nature of Regulus-san's Authority. But even once you've figured it out, the nasty thing about the Sin Archbishops is making you ask, "So what do we do about it?" Regulus-san is no exception, and the hint for breaking through has been entrusted to Emilia...!
And with that, episode 61 is over! This week went by fast too! Still, with Priscilla and Liliana fighting together, even if at the very end it turned into a punch instead of a clean slice, the Sirius side has been cleared! A battle where the more reassuring fronts get resolved first... now then, who's going to do what next week!? Stay tuned for the next episode! See you next week!
