Picking up right after last time, when they were suddenly sniped by magic in the desert, and the field's barrier came undone from the effect of the E・M・T they deployed at the end.
Just-woke-up Nee-sama.
When everyone got scattered, Subaru instinctively reached out toward Ram, who looked like she was in the most immediate danger nearby.
Just-woke-up Patra-Ana.
Subaru / Ram / Anastasia / Patrasche. Did someone bad at RPGs put this party together?
With no fighters among them, the group starts searching the mysterious underground area, but the road ahead is looking pitch black in every sense.
Subaru has talent as a spirit user, and as a result he's contracted with Beatrice. But because Beatrice is an extremely powerful spirit and an artificial spirit by origin, he can't make contracts with any other spirits besides her. So unlike Emilia or Julius, he can't even talk to lesser spirits.
By the way, the current Freud was Kurapika in the WEB version. I guess Kurapika was a bit too much to use! (lol)
A mysterious door (wall) that makes you vanish the instant you touch it. It feels like such a classic RPG gimmick, so it's one of my favorites. Patrasche is in a foul mood, though.
Season 3 didn't give us many chances for it, but the rapid-fire back-and-forth between Subaru and Ram is so satisfying to listen to. I love it.
Because they've been moving for so long through a dark place with bad air, everyone's complexion and expressions gradually start to cloud over too. This kind of thing can happen when you're getting mentally worn down. You shouldn't blame people for it.
> Forget Rem Now that's crossing a line!
Even punishment has its limits (a warning)
Depending on the viewer, today's depiction might be pretty rough, so if your mental state tends to lose to your own imagination, I recommend closing your eyes. Writing that now, with Part A over.
Phew, thank goodness. It's like it never happened.
By the way, I really love that part here where Nee-sama sticks her finger in, so I had them be particular about the wording.
Since their behavior right before this was clearly abnormal, they figured the cause had to be something in the environment. And in fact, the effects of the miasma can't be ignored, which is exactly why it's so reviled. It attracts Mabeasts too.
Anastasia riding on Patrasche is unusual, especially with Julius not being with her, but she's cute, isn't she? Isn't she cute?
Quicksand and antlion traps are standard fare in a desert dungeon!
In the field where they end up after falling, they run into exactly the kind of FOE you're absolutely not supposed to encounter.
This is probably one of those hidden bosses you're meant to come back and challenge again later in the story after grinding a lot more levels, right?
Nee-sama coming to the rescue is godlike, but Patrasche coming along with her means their bond level is high too. That scene of the two of them attacking just now? I saw it about 1,000 times in the PV!
It's the ED! The ED's here!! Watch closely!!
Still, those 30 minutes really do go by fast, don't they? Doesn't it feel instant? You wait a whole week, but one episode is over in a flash. Kinda shocking, right?
So then, this episode's sponsor is the mysterious beauty who appeared at the end, Shaula! She seems to have the power to utterly overwhelm the Mabeast the Gabaou, which Subaru's group couldn't do a thing against, but just who is she? She must be a mysterious cool beauty type for sure (OP). Well then, thanks again for this week! See you again next week too!!
