Five Obstacles

Yes! Wednesday is here again this week! Time for Re:ZERO! Last time, Subaru was supposed to have entered Reid's "Book of the Dead," but somehow he was greeted by someone he didn't know, then got thoroughly scolded and encouraged by a girl he didn't know, and came back to himself! Once again, Subaru is way too busy. What will happen this week? Please enjoy!

In Meili's eyes, Julius is a "cool big brother," while Subaru is just "big brother," huh.

Most of the existing mabeasts originated with the 'Witch of Gluttony,' Daphne. The especially powerful ones were the White Whale, the Great Rabbit, and the Black Serpent. Mabeasts are drawn to a Witch's miasma, which is why Subaru often acts as bait—but then what about the Witch Cult?

It's probably better not to ask what the kids who were being set up were being set up for, huh.

Julius's understanding that "it should be about time for Emilia-sama to return after breaking through the wall" is an understanding that was updated over the course of the journey to the Watchtower. "I see, Emilia-sama has become remarkably strong..." Well, she had shown signs of that even before Arc 3.

In Rem and Julius's cases, there was time before the effects of the Authority of 'Gluttony' became apparent. But when they discuss someone who vanished with no gap in between, this kind of discrepancy arises.

As Beatrice explained, Ram gets a headache over Emilia, but compared with Julius and Eridna, it is because Emilia occupies a larger part of her heart. Ram cares more deeply for Emilia than she appears to from the outside.

Lye's combat skill in dealing with Emilia and Julius's coordinated attacks is exceptional. But Emilia and Julius are also a slightly poor match, so their coordination isn't very good. The theoretical Julius and the intuitive Emilia have poor balance when fighting together. Emilia is strong when paired with someone she can sync up with.

Reid also came down in the final episode of the Loss Arc, and of course he comes down at this point in the Recovery Arc as well. Please wait for the reveal of how someone who should not have been able to come down from the second floor's 'Trial' managed to do so.

I feel like Subaru's casual habit of telling anyone and everyone "I love you" starts becoming more pronounced around here.

The reason Ram was able to say, "Emilia-sama...," is that by not making a detour to Shaula's side, they avoided Emilia becoming a victim of 'Gluttony.' That's the result of saving time.

Just now, even the visual composition of the screen was really leaning into Episode 18... (lol)

When you hear the line, "Her face is one of Emilia-sama's few—," doesn't it make you feel like Ram is always looking at Emilia thinking, "Her visuals are really good..."? You can even picture Emilia, being stared at, tilting her head with a "?"

For Subaru, it was more fitting to judge it by feeling it with his soul than by seeing it with his eyes.

"Should we coordinate?" "Let's try it by gut instinct!"

But with this, 'Gluttony' is defeated! At last, they have avenged a long-standing enemy! Yay!

The subtitle "Obstruction" was super colorful and stylish, wasn't it!? There may have been subtitles with up to two colors before, but wasn't that the first one with so many colors!?
