The watergates were opened, and water came pouring into the city. Faced with the newly imposed conditions, Emilia is made painfully aware of everything that happened while she was asleep. She didn't even know Regulus-san had unintentionally protected her from Sirius's flames, after all.
Conditions of the Knight

The one with Emilia is No. 184, but including her, you'll see a few of Regulus-san's other brides here and there too, and Regulus-san's taste is more or less consistent, which makes it rather interesting.
Emilia firmly saying, "He's my knight," is really nice because you can see the trust she has in Subaru. Meanwhile, that knight is having a terrible time, gaaaah gaaaah gaaaah.
What torments Subaru after being swallowed by the muddy torrent is a bizarre mental world, but for the record, it's a scene with visual meaning. It's showing that things inside Subaru's body are in serious trouble.
Priscilla is absentmindedly patting Liliana on the head, but considering the chaos in the city since the Sin Archbishops showed up, she must have been protecting Liliana very thoroughly.
About Subaru's leg that got torn off last time: it regrew thanks to the effects of the dragon blood Capella gave him. It doesn't hurt, and it's even a little sturdier than the original! Lucky you!
By the way, the "dragon blood" kept by the Kingdom of Lugunica is said to be necessary to melt the frozen elves in Elior Forest, which Emilia froze over. To make use of the "dragon blood," you need to become king, so at first that was Emilia's reason for wanting to become ruler.
Emilia's goal now isn't just to save everyone in the forest anymore; her outlook has broadened a bit beyond that. After leaving the forest and meeting Subaru and the others, what she wants and what she wants to change have changed too.
Priscilla praises Subaru's spirit for not letting himself get crushed, and then a demi-beast attacks them, but this is one of the "ugly, unloved monsters" created by Capella of "Lust." As for what it was made from... I think you can guess without me saying it.
There it isssss!! It's the Yang Sworddddd!! Even the original author had only ever described it as "drawing it from an empty scabbard," so seeing it happen like this makes me go, "So that's how it comes out, amazing!!" It's the Yang Sworddddd!!
Slash, straight through the leaping demi-beast. As for Priscilla's combat power, the "Yang Sword" she uses is one of the ten absurdly powerful swords in the world of Re:Zero, so she's in the top tier even among the Royal Selection candidates. Compared with Emilia, who can attack over a wide area, the difference is really in attack range, so I guess which one you prefer comes down to unit characteristics.
As you can tell from their eye color, the many people in the shelter are under the influence of the Authority of "Wrath." Sirius's Authority, which amplifies anxiety and tension among those around her, functions in the worst possible way in a situation like this, so even the people who escaped the Sin Archbishops have been left stuck in an absolutely awful atmosphere.
"Pristella Reflected on the Water" is an insanely good song, isn't it???
Liliana's singing voice can even make a baby smile, but she's still as bad at winking as ever!
The Authority of "Wrath" amplifies discord, but in the same way, if a good atmosphere starts to spread, that can be amplified too. It's a grassroots effort, but there is definitely a real reason Priscilla is keeping Liliana with her. Though apparently, Priscilla is just looking for her attendant Schult.
It's Regulus-san's turnnn!! Regulus-san, go back --!!!
Emilia's change of clothes is really cute. It has such a different vibe from usual, and it's very nice.
Capella's side also rates Regulus-san terribly, but Regulus-san likewise sees Capella as a "toxic woman unworthy of being loved by anyone." The Sin Archbishops really do not get along. They don't feel like coworkers at all. If one of them called in sick, nobody would worry.
Parted by death (tantrum)
If this is how he treats them, then surely many of his wives must have been parted from him by death...
As for the fifty-three wives Regulus-san has gathered, his tastes are certainly consistent. By the way, a lot of them have straight-cut bangs, and that's because Regulus-san likes to get a good look at the faces he favors. If they grow their bangs out, they die.
With the muddy torrent rushing in, the battle over the City Hall has been reset. Capella and the Witch Cultists who came with her have withdrawn, but the damage they suffered was considerable, including Crusch-san, who was drenched in blood. Ferris's plea hurts to hear.
Emilia leaves an ice doll lying in the bed and heads out on a scouting mission with a pretty forceful method. Like with the Ice Brand Arts she uses to create ice weapons, she's become much more skillful at using magic than before. That's Subaru's influence.
"The Witch's remains," "the Book of Wisdom," "an artificial spirit," and "a silver-haired maiden" -- once again, the Emilia camp is being targeted a little too perfectly. They have far too many things the Witch Cult wants...!
With the Muse Company incident as well, Anastasia-san is extremely fired up. Setting aside the Witch Cult, the other Royal Selection candidates (except Priscilla) are also aware that they helped bring this on themselves. That is why this is a decision made as a leader, and she's more serious than we've ever seen before.
What a stirring BGM...
There is a C-part! Emilia sneaks into Regulus-san's room. Reflected in the metia mirror she picked up was Al, who was supposed to have split off from Subaru and the others... and that's where we end it this week! So fast! It felt like five minutes!
Also, I really like Emilia's little move where she tries to cover up accidentally opening the metia mirror by going "ei!" and pointing it straight ahead.
So, thank you again for this week! There are only 2 episodes left in the first half, the "Assault Arc"! Next week is a very, very, very important chapter for Arc 5, so I'd be happy if you'd join me again! Well then, thank you very much! See you next week!
