In any case, look forward to this week too!
Natsuki Subaru's Restart
Author Broadcast Live-Tweets(70 entries)
Looking back on what happened in the third loop...
Beako appears
I checked "Redo" on my iPod and I'd only played it 2,000 times. A blunder.
Part A starts!
We have a big discussion every time about how to hide it like this.
Someone's definitely going to use that shot just now as an icon: "Knife Rem"
At least he's putting on a brave front, then
First mention of the "Witch Cult," huh.
This week, enjoy the eruptions from all kinds of characters.
You can hear the sound of his heart breaking even without sound effects.
As the author, Subaru-kun's outburst here is one of my favorite parts.
"Any more than that will leave a wound."
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"
The worst possible restart
"There was nothing between me and those two."
Emilia-tan is painfully cute
This direction here! Look at it! It's so good, right?!
First penalty
In a world where time has stopped, he experiences the agony of having his heart gripped over and over. This is the terror of the Mangekyo Sharingan...!
Roswaal: "You can stay as long as you liiike, until your heart settles down."
Beako outside
Nattsuume
Beako outside the forbidden library is a rare sight
Right now, it's just before noon on day one.
Subaru-kun's voice is hoarse overall this week, but after this, please pay attention to how his voice changes through his interaction with Beako.
First "contract" too; lots of firsts today.
Part A is over!
Pout
Part B starts!
We fast-forward a bit to four days later, but Subaru-kun is still tormented by nightmares in the meantime.
That direction just now was...?
Lately, my pillow smells seriously way too much like me.
A book that can actually be thrown pretty seriously.
Beako's kindness in subtly throwing him a book he can actually read.
But during this time, Subaru-kun's book hasn't changed. Because it isn't progressing.
He chases after Beako, who went out into what might be a dangerous mansion.
We made it to the morning of the fifth day! Chapter 2 complete!!!
Emilia, whose upper arms are exposed, slightly unlike her usual design.
Fourth loop start.
Ram here, you know, her acting here, you know, is incredible. She really is the elder sister, you know.
Rare serious Roswaal.
Beatrice interfering, Roswaal genuinely getting serious.
It's rare to see these two facing off.
He wants to talk here, but if he does, the penalty will come. He's afraid of that.
Sister-sama's scream.
--I'll kill you for sure.
Both in the original and the anime, there are runtime limits that keep it from being fully depicted, but the memories of those five days repeated three times come crashing down on him.
This cliff is a cliff I want you to keep in mind without making a big deal of it.
A tremendously rare outdoor Beako.
"A deadline? I don't know. I thought it was just a promise to protect, I suppose."
What was going through Beako's mind at this moment, I wonder.
The memories of the nightmare return.
We're going into the special ED.
Holding both hands of the person sleeping in the big bed isn't something one person can do alone, so...
Please enjoy the switch here between the monologue and spoken dialogue.
Sister-sama with her headdress off.
The long-awaited boiiing.
The tone of the voice.
You guys don't know either, do you?
"Wait."
Don't leave me behind.
Part B ends!
It begins with Beako, we're healed by Beako, and Beako closes it out.
Anime really is amazing, isn't it? It's amazing, and at the same time frustrating, too. But really, especially this time, there are so many people I want to say thank you to.
But I wonder if you can understand it. How deeply, from the bottom of my heart, I feel that it really was a good thing it was Kobayashi-san.
I really want you to pay attention to the expressions Rem, Ram, and Beatrice have never shown before, and to Subaru's voice from beginning to end.
While the afterglow of all this emotion is still lingering, this may be an odd thing to bring up, but when the final subtitle appears, there was actually a fairly quiet discussion about whether to emphasize the sound effect in the back there or not (lol).
The emotion still hasn't worn off, but thank you again for this week! By the way, Roswaal-san being unusually serious and his stance toward the sisters was written about a lot in the bonus short story. A shameless plug.
See you again next week! Next week, well, next week is super interesting too!! Later!
