My computer's acting up in all sorts of ways, but I'm here and ready at the last second!
A Flash of Sloth

Still, I panicked when I couldn’t connect to Twitter. I was even considering abandoning my computer and heading into town to live-commentate.
Today is Episode 22, and the Re:Zero anime is finally down to just 4 episodes left. It's painful and lonely knowing the end is getting close. Before it started, I thought it'd be over in an instant, and it really was! There's only about one month left... well, not even that, but please stick with me!
Well then, Re:Zero Episode 22 begins! Please enjoy!
I said it last week too, but Julius's ground dragon is named "Shaknarl."
(After making it through the White Whale battle) "You look livelier than I expected." (The wounds you gave me) "Were no big deal!"
Patrasche appears.
Don't you think Subaru's final little "Hah!" in that shared laugh really adds a nice touch?
Part A start!
Forming a circle, the Witch Cult strategy meeting begins.
The three siblings go Mimi, Hetaro, then Tivey. The youngest brother is a serious, logical kid.
Various explanations while preparing for the White Whale.
"It's Yuri."
Subaru-kun can't help having some lingering resentment toward Julius-san at every turn.
"Subaru is such a troublesome child..."
"But that's what makes him cute."
Meanwhile, back at Roswaal's mansion.
The man enters the forest. By now, he's getting pretty used to walking through this forest too.
Yes! It stinks!
After several encounters, Subaru-kun has gotten some real nerve.
Reunion.
It's actually the first time these two have had a proper conversation.
A rich, heady Witch's loooove.
"I used it as a trivet, it got dirty, so I threw it away."
How was this okay to broadcast?
All right! 'Sloth' defeated! The Witch Cult arc, fin...!!
Ah, Part B is starting.
Petel/Geuse
To begin with, Wilhelm-san is the kind of person who's pretty much fine with anything if it gets the job done, so he doesn't really adhere much to chivalry.
The letters look warped. It's an effect to show that it's "unreadable." In fact, it's set up so that anyone other than the owner mysteriously can't read what's written there.
A little surprised he managed to do subtraction.
After this, Mimi got yelled at a whole lot.
The members of the separate unit, apart from the Petelgeuse subjugation team, were attacking another Witch Cult hideout that Subaru had lured out using his own constitution. From the term "Fingers," it is inferred behind the scenes that Petelgeuse has ten groups under his command.
Basically, Witch Cultists don’t make a move on Subaru the first time they see him, so if all you want is to lure them out, Subaru’s constitution lets you do it fairly safely.
Peteko-chan
Unlike Petelgeuse, who has a habit of biting his fingers, Pete-ko has a habit of peeling off her nails.
A spirit suddenly popped out.
The "Unseen Hand" interferes with reality at the moment it touches something, so even Wilhelm-san's sword can interfere with it. The way Wilhelm-san saw the "Unseen Hand" is like N'Doul's method.
About five unlucky allies were taken out by the "Unseen Hand."
Wilhelm-san's mindset around here is that of the "Sword Devil" he forged in his youth. Eh? Could it be that this is from Re:Zero EX 2, "Sword Devil Love Ballad"!?
They reunite with the merchants on the plain and prioritize evacuating the villagers. It's a recreation of what he wanted to do for Otto and the others in the third loop.
Ferris is cute.
Part B ends, closing with Ram.
When you see her again after a while, Ram is super cute, isn't she?
C-can't you face the illustration in this ending with just a slightly more positive feeling than before!? No!? Hang in there, Emilia-tan!
The way Wilhelm-san saw the "Unseen Hand" was this: while water from the pond was falling like rain, only the path the "Unseen Hand" passed through had no rain there, so with the Sword Devil's intuition he cut through the spot where it was. None of the others with him could have done that besides Wilhelm-san.
Oh, I see, volumes 9 and 10 are being published consecutively. That must have been incredibly tough, surely. But I really respect how you never show even the slightest sign of how hard it was.
Now then, Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti has died, and the following Pete-ko has also been defeated, but Subaru's group still has one hardship after another ahead of them, so please tune in again next week!
