All right! It's Re:Zero time again this week! Last time turned into an unexpected name episode, but this time it isn't. Which means it's a calm, everyday-life episode! An everyday-life episode!? Inside the tower!? Anyway, looking forward to this week too!

Last time was a Julius name episode, and since he caused that mess through some pretty arbitrary judgment, Emilia-tan is angry too. And if there are telops, then the opening is...
So that's how Emilia-tan's clothes were made! Cute!
By the way, according to Otto, Patrasche speaks like "watakushi" and "desu wa," so among their companions she's closest to Frederica. As ladies, they seem like they'd get along well.
Now then, Big Sis is harsh on this case of male measles. Even so, considering Rem, whom Big Sis is placing her hopes on in this tower, it makes sense.
By the way, since Emilia has already cleared it once, having her join someone else's challenge is another possible strategy. But in that case, Reid might get a little more serious, so it could actually be even more dangerous.
As you can tell from the fact that she waited in the tower for four hundred years, Shaula's sense of time is pretty far removed from ordinary people's. She looks carefree, but the real meaning behind what she's saying is... maybe that she's lonely?
Also, if Reinhard came along, Reid would get serious in the second layer's "trial," so it's a garbage mechanic where the difficulty goes up even more.
In that meal scene just now, in the original, when Shaula praised Emilia, Emilia took it seriously and said, "I'll think seriously about becoming Shaula's master too." If you praise her carelessly, she might aim to become a cook instead of a king. Be careful.
Those Subaru and Beatrice silly little interactions inserted here and there are fun to write, so before I know it, I keep slipping them in... I'm addicted to it. To letting Subaru and Beako fool around.
The Green Room has a limit on how many people can enter, and if too many try to go in, it upsets the spirit of the room. At worst, you can be barred from entering and leaving, so there's nothing to gain by upsetting it. Shaula? Hasn't she already upset it long ago...?
If he can sleep soundly on that hard-looking stone bed, then either Subaru has gotten used to life in another world, or the Green Room's spirit has the paower to guarantee comfortable sleep even on a stone bed. The latter sounds more plausible, so let's go with the latter.
Those white birds that helped them on the sand sea on the way to the tower were there too, but so much chaos happened around their arrival at the tower that we'd forgotten they existed. So what does it mean that they're inside the tower too, and with Echidna-in-the-scarf besides...?
There sure are a lot of birds... Even though Reinhard wasn't supposed to be able to make it there. Which means Reinhard is below birds...?
By the way, Echidna-in-the-scarf uses "boku" as a first-person pronoun. Reid uses "ore," and Meili uses "watashi." Shaula uses "aashi." Keep that in mind when you're writing them.
Now Natsuki Subaru's origins are under scrutiny...! Looking back, this man is far too suspicious... who in the world is he? (Eridna's point of view)
A bird taking flight! The birds in the Re:Zero world know how to read the room...!
From the end of the battle at Pristella to where they are now in the tower, the journey took more than half a month. When you think about that, Julius's shock right now must be all the greater.
Because of last time too, a lot of people may think the author enjoys making Julius suffer, but I don't want you to get the wrong idea. It isn't just Julius!
I think I've mentioned this before, but Anastasia's body was born with a defective gate, so she has a constitution that can't take in mana from outside. If you can't use mana, then to use magic you end up shaving away something like the core of the soul, called Od, so that recklessness on the second layer put a pretty heavy burden on her.
What Julius feels inside is extremely complicated. Because Julius is so rational, this is how it turns out. It'd be nice if he could be more emotional, but all the knights in Re:Zero are bad at expressing their feelings.
Ram being able to turn back here shows she can calmly judge her current situation. That said, the reason she almost went on was the impatience born from worrying about Rem, so that state of mind is... well, you know.
Subaru suddenly notices something and breaks into a run. Now then, what will come of that flash of inspiration...!?
Waking up to a morning call from Emilia, Beako, Rem, and Patrasche... looking at it like this, it's an incredible Subaru harem kind of scene.
It sounded like a scream I'd heard somewhere before, like one I'd heard ten years ago...
And so, this week's sponsor spot was basically Eridna having a sword pointed at her, and thank you again for today! After a night's passed, I'm sure everyone has a lot of questions about what happened, how it happened, and why, but let me say it anyway. Arc 6, "The Corridor of Memories," the main story starts now.
Now then, once you've finished the main episode? That's right, watching the mini anime is how your Re:Zero anime viewing is truly complete. This time too, it's Julius's "Practice What You Preach Memorandum"! Savor every last bit of today, then welcome tomorrow again! https://t.co/FRYc6xa3my
